The ORCA is a true ‘cross-over’ designed to accommodate an owner’s desire to travel extensively and for long periods throughout Europe. Canal and river cruising is an authentic experience during which to take in the surroundings at a comfortable pace.
This required a proven seaworthy hull and low centre of gravity coupled with the quiet running and low air draft necessary for navigation on the canals of Europe and the rivers and inter-coastal waterways of the Eastern US.
The vessel boasts a full width master with en-suite, with a second VIP stateroom with a generous en-suite. There is also a smaller kiddie / crew cabin and day head. The main deck consists of a spacious aft salon, combined with the wheelhouse galley and dining area on 1 level with all the expected amenities.
The unique flybridge and helm area offer a large comfortable outside area and safe storage of a tender. The radar mast folds giving an air draft of 3.4m for navigation on European canals and inland waterways.
The hull construction is from Lloyds Grade A steel. The wheelhouse and coach roof are constructed using epoxy foam core.
All machinery has been selected from top quality suppliers.
